Headline Coffee is a new delivery service from the Toronto Star and Metro.
For almost 125 years the Star has been delivering the headlines readers count on to start their day. Whether rushing out the door, newspaper in hand, poring over an investigative piece, or sitting down with the Saturday crossword, there’s a good chance you’re doing it with a cup of coffee.
That’s why we launched Headline Coffee, a subscription service that brings you a new coffee from a new part of the world, every month.
Our monthly selections are curated to take our subscribers on a coffee journey, helping you develop your palate for coffee. From medium-bodied everyday staples to bold and fruity new blends, a subscription to Headline is curated to help you discover and explore your personal tastes. We hope you’ll love your coffee as much as we loved getting it to your door, right alongside your morning newspaper.
We source our beans from only Fairtrade certified and often organic producers all across the globe. Our coffee experts source in-season coffee beans from independent farmers and co-ops, which means we’re always roasting beans at their prime. They look for the biggest beans, brightest colour and highest altitudes to get maximum flavour from every bean.
Once our beans arrive in Canada, they’re roasted here in Toronto at a family-run roasting facility that’s been helping coffee lovers explore the growing world of coffee for over 20 years. In addition to Headline Coffee subscribers, they supply coffee to some of the city’s best cafes and restaurants.
